FMLA Forms & Paper

Alert: On February 5th, 2013, the anniversary of the Family & Medical Leave Act, the U.S. Department of Labor issued a final rule expanding the benefits available to both airline flight crew and military families. These FMLA changes create additional compliance requirements for businesses. In order to stay in compliance, businesses will need to display the new mandatory FMLA poster and utilize updated FMLA forms, workplace policies and training tools effective March 8th, 2013.

From a pregnancy or family adoption to a special medical or military circumstance, FMLA compliance forms are required for extended employee medical leave. It is the employer’s responsibility to supply the regulated FMLA paperwork for the employee’s leave request and the company’s response.
